Working under the direction of the Director, the Project Officer will assist in the delivery of public transport projects, managing assets and undertaking procurement and contract management activities. The Project Officer will have knowledge of and ensure compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) policy requirements.

Under limited direction, the Project Officer will draw on well-developed organisational and time management skills, experience in providing project and procurement support to assist in delivering projects.

The successful applicant will have experience in providing project management support, well
- developed verbal and written communication skills and be confident working both collaboratively and independently as required.

**Eligibility/other requirements**:

- Project management experience or qualifications are highly-desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of legislation, regulations
- An understanding of public transport or similar field is highly-desirable.
