The Role

We are currently seeking a Drafter - Urban Communities to contribute to the development and production of project deliverables in our Brisbane office.
- Town centre main street upgrades
- Solar farm designs
- Design of construction camps for major infrastructure projects
- Townhouse developments
- Residential subdivisions (30 to 900 lots)
- Town centre land and housing urban renewals
- Master plan communities
- Intersection road upgrades

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and delivery of major civil projects using AutoCAD
- Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
- Delivering projects under strict timescales, whilst ensuring quality performance meets with SMEC objectives
- Liaising with the engineering team, external stakeholders, and clients for project specifications and details

About You
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent professional tertiary Civil Drafting qualification
- Minimum 3 years Civil drafting experience
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Previous drafting experience of urban / land development projects
- A proven understanding of Australian Standards and local regulations
