**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Service Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a crucial role responsible for liaising with staff, overseeing NDIS participant intake, and ensuring the exceptional delivery of our services. You will also manage all aspects of client communication, from answering calls to providing accurate information and scheduling appointments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**NDIS Service Coordination**:

- Coordinate and oversee service delivery for NDIS participants, ensuring their needs and goals are met.
- Manage the intake process for new NDIS participants, including assessments, planning, and service budget development.
- Collaborate with participants, families, support teams, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Lead and manage a team of remote community support staff.
- Conduct participant assessments, develop service plans, and monitor progress.
- Provide clinical support, supervision, and training to staff.
- Assist with policy development and implementation related to services and NDIS regulations.

**Client Communication**:

- Provide clear and accurate information about NDIS services and procedures.
- Address client concerns and complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Build rapport and trust with participants to foster positive relationships.

**Quality and Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate documentation and stay abreast of NDIS updates and best practices.
- Organize events and promote disability awareness in the community.
- Represent the organization to government, community agencies, and the wider community.
- Continuously update your knowledge through professional development activities.
- Support service certification, licensing, accreditation, and compliance.

**Teamwork and Leadership**:

- Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in human services, business management, or a related field (preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of the NDIS, Practice Standards, Quality Indicators, and Restrictive Practices.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in NDIS CRM, Microsoft Office suite, and other computer systems.
- Current Worker Screening and NDIS Worker Induction Module completion.
- Supervisory experience in the disability sector (preferred).
- Experience in developing health or care plans (preferred).
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
