**About the role**

Victorian Nurse Specialists Agency is currently recruiting for our client Villa Maria Catholic Homes. You’ll provide essential cleaning services to help older people stay living in the comfort of their homes, where they want to be. Our enthusiastic and hardworking team of Domestic Assistants are committed to helping older people maintain their independence and live their life to the fullest. This is an ideal role for those wanting flexibility while studying, flexibility to work within school hours or to kick off a new career in domestic assistance.

**Some of your tasks will include**:

- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
- Making beds and changing bed linen
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Hanging, folding and ironing washing
- Dusting
- Building professional relationships
- Working close to home
- Having fun on the job

**About you**
You are an amazing cleaner - you take pride in sparkling surfaces and fresh smelling linen A natural people person, you communicate with compassion and empathy, and love the idea of supporting older people to live independently and maintain their personal dignity.

**Requirements**:

- Current Victorian Driver License and permanent access to a Registered Vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance
- Smart phone
- Ability to follow a set Task List or Care Plan for each client
- Capacity to perform home care tasks satisfactorily and within guidelines
- National Police Check
- Proof of Vaccination
- All training & equipment provided
