**Your new company**
A statutory authority responsible for protecting the environment. You’ll work with the quality team based in Melbourne.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Team Leader, Environmental Audit; you’ll:

- Plan and deliver the Environmental Audit program, including the review of the scope of audits and preliminary risk screen assessments submitted prior to audits commencing
- Implement quality assurance processes, including the development of standard operating procedures for the Environmental Audit program; conduct quality assurance of audit recommendations following implementation to ensure compliance
- Provide support and advice on the Environmental Audit program as requested to auditors, EPA staff, local government, and the community

**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll have leadership experience in an assurance function, as well as:

- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, or equivalent
- A detailed understanding of the Environment Protection Act 2017 and regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex projects within a complex regulatory and public policy context
