**1. Position Purpose**

Playdays Supervisors are responsible for ensuring a fun experience for children of all ages in a safe environment. The role includes overseeing the operations of children’s parties, overseeing and working in the café and overseeing floor staff to monitor the use of equipment. This role is part of a team that delivers first class experiences to all patrons in a family friendly and safe environment. Part of the role also includes overseeing Inflatable World activities during school holidays.

Café: Take orders and prepare food / drinks for patrons

Oversee café staff

Prepare supplier orders for all food and drinks

Efficient and timely service of patrons

Playdays Parties: Ensure parties are serviced in accordance with the operational guidelines.

**(iii)**

Floor staff for Playdays / Inflatable World
- Oversee casual team to ensure safe operation of all equipment in line with IW directions
- Ensure all IW training modules and inductions are read and understood
- Maintain active presence and active prevention in inflatables area
- Actively ensure that the inflatables area remains safe and hazard free
- Ensure that the under 5s area is free of children 5 year and over
- Ensure all Playdays and IW guidelines and policies are followed
- Complete and oversee the process of reporting of any accidents and injuries

Ensure safe and effective use of equipment

Implement cleaning roster as per Covid Safe Plan

Meets Covid hygiene standards as per Covid Safe Plan

4. Takes reasonable care for the safety of his/her own health and safety and that of other people who may be affected by their conduct in the workplace

5. Seeks guidance for all new or modified work procedures to ensure that any hazardous conditions, near misses and injures are reported immediately to the Director

6. Participates in meetings, training and other environment, health and safety activities

7. Does not wilfully place at risk the health or safety of any person in the work place

8. Does not wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interest of environment health and safety or welfare
