**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, we have an opening to join our team as a Quality Inspector. You will be primarily focused on the verification of purchased products using technical documentation, incoming test protocols and established benchmarking guideline. Detail-oriented individuals with a conspicuous computer proficiency are encouraged to apply.

(This role is full-time, short-term)

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Conduct all incoming inspections of purchased materials utilising established ITPs and technical documentation and drawings
- Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testings
- Respond to all material quality issues raised by Production in a timely fashion or as directed
- Participate in non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis
- Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures used in the inspection and testing process
- Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation in accordance with the requirements of the calibration schedule to ensure proper operation and calibration
- Review and document processes and participate in system audits
- Other Quality support duties as directed

**YOU'LL NEED THESE TO SUCCEED**
- An understanding of Quality Assurance principals and industry standards and practices
- Manufacturing experience and/or experience with intrinsically safe manufacture is desirable
- Understanding and familiarity of, or exposure to, technical and engineering documentation and reference drawings
- A positive, outgoing and motivated personality
- Willingness to cultivate and develop new skills and to pursue vocational learning opportunities where appropriate
- Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable operating autonomously or as directed
- Effective problem solving skills
