We have a national biodiversity team of over 80 Ecologists, and we are known for our wide-ranging and extensive technical expertise as well as our robust biodiversity assessments. Our services are in high demand and continue to grow on the back of new and exciting projects, including within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. At all times, our goal is to use our expertise to provide specialist advice to balance development, impact avoidance, and offsetting results that achieve the best possible environmental outcome.

**About you**

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Ecologist with 2+ years of experience who has:

- A degree/post-graduate qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology, environmental science (or similar)
- Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and undertaking flora and/or fauna surveys in ACT (NSW experience will be highly regarded)
- An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including, and not limited to, clients, government agencies and fellow team members
- Demonstrated experience in the collection and interpretation of ecological and spatial data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including prior experience in assisting with the preparation of reports
- Prior experience and/or knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation is highly regarded
- A high level of motivation and self-direction
- Be willing to work flexible hours and travel for work
