**SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian based Mining Contractor. Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance, Contract Mining and Drill and Blast Divisions.**

- Monday to Friday - Attractive Hours
- Occasional ad-hoc site visits
- Permanent Position
- Welshpool Location - Onsite parking

**Responsibilities include**:

- Manage all data in AMT to ensure accurate information is being captured for all major component change outs.
- Conduct ongoing thorough analysis of data and auditing compliance to ensure continual equipment cost efficiencies throughout all areas of the business.
- Plan and execute major shutdowns on equipment in consultation with Maintenance Managers.
- Ability to maintain systems including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Entire and AMT
- Maintain current critical spares and BOM lists to ensure their accuracy against current fleet.
- Keeping service sheets and other maintenance related documents up to date and make changes if required.
- Manage, implement and improve lubrication based predictive maintenance programs - including on-site data collection, analysis, and determination of recommendations
- Manage CTS, Bucket, tyre & Tray Wear monitoring program.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience with a varied range of mining equipment & heavy plant maintenance
- Experience using CMMS system AMT.
- 5 years mining maintenance experience with a mechanical background and minimum of 2 years in planning or scheduling roles.
- Sound knowledge of heavy mobile equipment condition monitoring and analysis
- High level of attention to detail
- Good time management
