**About the role**

The Project Lead - Theatre Efficiencies, will report to the GRHSP Elective Surgery Delivery and Innovation Team Change and Redesign Manager and will take on all project requirements to investigate models to develop a regional approach to theatre Efficiencies.

This initiative will aim to:

- Review theatre management processes to ensure operating theatre capacity is utilised so more patients receive timely access to surgical procedures.
- Explore best-in-class theatre management models, in order to develop a viable regional wide approach for GRHSP, to improve surgical outcomes.
- Explore ways to improve the patient’s surgical journey and increase theatre efficiency and throughput.
- Conduct an audit of all theatre utilisation & capability across the GRHSP in order to create a benchmark of current state and identify gaps and opportunities.
