**Trainer and Assessor - **Certificate III in Local Government (Administration)**

**Casual or Contractor**

WALGA Training is currently looking for a motivated Business Trainer and Assessor to join our dedicated training team, who all play a vital role to support our learners to achieve their individual career goals across Western Australia.

As part of WALGA’s training team, you will be responsible for training and assessment of a diverse cohort of students enrolled at a Certificate III level; supporting and nurturing individuals as they prepare for a career in Local Government in an Administrative role.

In collaboration with our supportive administration team, you will deliver an exceptional virtual learning experience to students, undertaking assessment on and off the job, build solid relationships with supervisors and employers, contribute to course development and support effective processes and partnerships.

If you are an exceptional, passionate Trainer and Assessor who has experience in Local Government and you have a proven track record in delivering quality programs incorporating positive learning experience for participants, we would like to speak with you.

- Demonstrated practical work experience in a Local Government Administration role or similar.
- TAE40116 Certificate IV Training & Assessment
- High level of digital literacy including Office 365 (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in delivering training via ZOOM
- A passion for student growth, development and success.
- An ability to work and contribute as an effective member of a team
