**The Role: Support Worker ( Sleepover )**

We are currently looking to recruit Support Workers to fill in Sleepover Night Shifts across the Kogarah, Botany and Sutherland Shire areas.

**key responsibilities**:

- You are committed to provide a Sleepover Overnight Care Service accompanying aged care clients in their own home.
- Monitoring their overall well being and escalate to our Registered Nurse's and management, where necessary.
- Writing accurate case notes and recording them using the online client management system
- Compile and report all accidents/incidents and hazards to management.
- Responsible for the safe management of all equipment in line with policies and procedures.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written skills.
- Commitment and willingness to participate in continuing training and education.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Aged Care experience highly recommended.
- Certificate III or above in in Aged care/Disability/Individual support
- Must have a current Unrestricted Drivers' Licence and a reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Current Criminal Record Check or willingness to undergo a National Criminal Record Check
- Flu and Hepatitis B vaccination certificate required
- COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate required

Schedule:

- Monday to Sunday Shifts
- Hours 6pm - 6am ( Sleepover )
- Hours 8pm - 8am ( Sleepover )

Licence/Certification
- First Aid Certification (Required )
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Drivers Licence and Insurance (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $35.73 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sutherland NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
