**Job Summary**

Our client is seeking a full-time Marcomms Manager in Sydney who will lead the growth and awareness of our client across the League, Australia events and our client's Australian Team.

This position reports to the Head of Marketing & Communications, APAC and is based in Sydney, Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all marketing and communications relating to our client in the Australia market.
- Work in collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Communications, APAC, to create and execute strategic and locally relevant marketing and communications for our client to promote the League & Team.
- Work in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, APAC, to create and execute strategic digital content plans for our client to promote the League and Team.
- Serve as the main contact for our client in the market team for local, national and international media with the support of a communications agency.
- Amplify all our clients global announcements in the market.
- Manage the creation of all external communications and marketing materials relating to the local team and event.
- Ensure community communications are delivered effectively to deliver support and advocacy, whilst promoting the client's values.
- Oversee and manage local marketing and communications agencies and additional resources in market to meet the overall objectives.
- Manage the delivery of the promotional plan including media buying and coordinate marketing spend.
- Coordinate with our client's global communications, marketing and digital media teams
- Travel to our client's events, serving in a press officer role for the team.
- Provide counsel to team leaders and athletes in all areas of communications.
- Collaborate with key commercial partners and stakeholders to ensure marketing and communications deliverables and objectives are achieved.
- Manage event and team marcomms budgets, operating with a financially responsible mindset.
- Manage the delivery and track progress against KPIS across marketing and communications for the team and event.

**Deliverables**
- Create and deliver industry leading marketing, communication and digital strategies that will elevate brand awareness and advocacy, increase our client's fan base increase broadcast viewership and digital engagement.
- Draft and maintain communications, social and content plans for the promotion of our client and its teams and events.
- Manage and execute commercial event and team partner marketing and communications plans and deliverables.
- Serve as the main media contact and manage media interviews for athletes and team personnel.
- Prepare athletes and team personnel for media interviews via training and briefings.
- Drive year-round PR and media coverage in Australia and ensure internal KPIS are being delivered
