Payroll Officer

**Your new role**
You will be responsible for providing Payroll for this organisation. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Ensure a high standard of service is delivered to all internal/external customers to deliver accurate and timely end to end payroll is processed
- Calculate and process termination payments including superannuation, leave entitlements and/or redundancy payments and employee income tax/withholding tax applicable
- Record, update and retrieve information from electronic databases in accordance with the Department’s policies and procedures to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
- Escalate urgent or complex matters to the appropriate person to provide timely customer service
- Prioritise and coordinate tasks to meet the agreed timeframes and competing priorities
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in Payroll who has also done accounts previously
- Must have SAP payroll experience
- Government background preferable
- Must be a citizen or permeant resident due to this being a high clearance government department
- Good Communication skills
**What you'll get in return**
