We’re seeking compassionate and dedicated casual Personal Support Workers and Domestic Assistants with experience in aged care, NDIS or mental health care to join our team. In this role, you'll provide person-centered care to clients in a variety of settings, supporting them to achieve their goals and enhancing their well-being. The role will see you on the front-line providing support to clients with morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.

As a Personal Support Worker or Domestic Assistant, you will provide in home person-centered care and support, providing daily support to persons, including children, with a physical and/or intellectual disability and/or age related support needs up to complex care support. This position may involve manual handling (including use of lifts and hoists), attending community and social activities, cleaning, providing transportation in your personal vehicle and providing personal care to clients.

What we are looking for:

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting people in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Caring, compassionate and motivated with a positive outlook
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with others
- Reliable & dependable with good time management skills
- An ability to understand, listen and communicate with people who have limited verbal communication capabilities or who have English as a second language
- Prior experience working with moderate to high challenging behaviours would be beneficial
- Availability during the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays

**You will need**:

- National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Full South Australian Driver's Licence and be willing to drive clients in your car
- Own reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance
- Current First Aid / CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Manual handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Reside in North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide or willing to travel to such areas for shifts
- Smart phone required and comfortable using technology
- Medication Administration Certificate would be advantageous
- Evidence of Covid vaccination status preferred
- Fluent in speaking Italian, Greek or Chinese will be highly regarded

**Personal Support Workers**
- Require all of the above as well as Certificate III or IV in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care
