**THE ROLE**

The** Zero Harm Advisor **will support the Zero Harm team to lead, develop and provide advice on Downer Zero Harm Standards and legislative requirements to the project teams. As an experienced safety professional, you will have the opportunity to guide, support and develop the team’s mentality toward Safety to ensure adherence to the Downer Zero Harm standards and legislative requirements. This is a fulltime permanent role which will be based out of our Milton office however, working across multiple contracts and travel to other sites & depot’s is a requirement of this position.
- The key responsibilities of the role include:_
- Coach Project Managers, Engineers, supervisors, and field crews to successfully promote and foster a proactive culture of Zero Harm and environmental safety.
- Conduct observations, site inspections and audits.
- Investigate incidents, injuries or breaches of safety and environment procedures.
- Manage incident reporting within Downer and Client systems.
- Coordinate injury management activities.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A strong track record of operational safety exposure within a large project-based environment (Power, Energy, Utilities or Civil Construction industry experience advantageous).
- Prior utilisation of Health Safety & Environment Management systems.
- Certificate IV in OHS/WHS required.
- Diploma/Degree Qualification in OHS/WHS (advantageous but not essential).
- ICAM lead investigator / Auditing experience (advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal skills with an emphasis on reporting.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
