Based at** 699 Bourke St (Vic) **and reporting to the Cleaning Services Manager this exciting **Part-Time Cleaning Supervisor** position has become available for a professional and organised team member to work with one of Assetlink’s clients. The role will be responsible for performing overall cleaning work on-site.

**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Part-Time Cleaning Supervisor **to be based at **699 Bourke St (Vic)**. If you have 6 to 12 months of experience and want to expand your knowledge within the cleaning industry as a cleaning supervisor then this position is for you. You will be provided on-site training, and the opportunity to allow you to step into a senior role within Assetlink. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, are passionate and have a strong desire to make a difference.

**The Roster for this role is**:
Monday to Friday - 5:30pm - 10:00pm

**Responsibilities**
- Supervising the cleaning team members
- Supporting the Cleaning Manager on staff-related matters.
- Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training.
- Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences;
- Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc;
- Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client.
- Understand customer’s security, environmental and safety requirements.
- Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**To be considered for the position you must have the following**:

- A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in retail/commercial cleaning
- Previous experience supervising a team (preferred)
- Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure.
- Consistent attention to detail.
