**The Opportunity**:
This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills with Australia's premier marine and dredging contractor. As a
**Dredge Operator **you will play an important role in the safe and efficient operation of the company's
**cutter suction dredge**.
***This role will initially focus on a project in
**Warrnambool** (until mid December approx.) and then will become a long term opportunity on projects across the
**Shire of Mornington Peninsula and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Constant monitoring and operation of dredge controls to ensure optimal dredge operation.
- Maintain dredge availability to meet or exceed planned efficiency goals.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required e.g. maintenance, break down assistance.
- Maximizing production whilst maintaining a safe work environment
- Carrying out duties in line with OH&S standards
- Actively participating as an integral member of the team

**About You**:

- Demonstrated experience working as a Dredge Operator on medium to large Cutter Suction Dredges
- Relevant marine qualifications (Coxswain ticket or higher is desirable)
- Experience working on Marine and/or dredging projects is advantageous
- You are team-oriented, highly motivated, production-focused, and willing to be involved in all aspects of the dredging operations.
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
