**The Opportunity**:
This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills with Australia's premier marine and dredging contractor. As a
**Deckhand **you will play an important role in the assistance and upkeep of the company's fleet of vessels and marine equipment. This role will initially focus on a project in
**Warrnambool** (until mid December approx.) and then will become a long term opportunity on projects across the
**Shire of Mornington Peninsula and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.**

- Full-time role for the duration of these projects (6 days per week)
- Ongoing projects already secured across the Mornington Peninsula and Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the day to day running and maintenance of a variety of vessels (workboats, dredges, barges, etc.).
- Ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
- Clear communication, physical fitness, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines are paramount in this role.
**About You**:
- Prior experience as a deckhand preferably with rigger and dogger qualifications
- Self motivated and able to perform under pressure
- Must be willing to assist in general duties of Marine and dredging projects in accordance with OHS regulations
- You are safety-minded and able to follow instructions
- You hold or are willing to obtain an Elements of Shipboard Safety Certificate and First Aid Certificate
- Any relevant Marine qualifications will be considered and looked at favorably
