We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Manager to join our team. This casual position offers a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours.

**Key Requirements**:

- Availability to work Saturdays - Essential for this role
- Butchery experience preferred - Knowledge of meat handling and preparation is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license - Required for occasional stock pickups and deliveries
- Strong customer service skills - Ability to engage with customers professionally and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Capable of handling multiple responsibilities under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Quick thinking and resourcefulness in daily operations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Clear and confident interaction with customers and team members
- Attention to detail and organizational proficiency - Ensuring accuracy in stock management and store operations
- Ability to take initiative and work independently - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges
- Experience in ordering and inventory management - Understanding of stock control and supplier coordination
- Flexibility and adaptability - Willingness to adjust to evolving operational demands

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee store operations - Ensure efficient and effective daily functions
- Manage the counter and assist customers - Provide exceptional customer service and maintain orderliness
- Coordinate stock orders and inventory - Monitor supply levels and place timely orders
- Lead and support staff - Uphold store policies and foster a positive work environment
- Handle operational challenges with professionalism - Respond to issues with practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Maintain clean and safe working conditions

Pay: $48,768.87 - $88,698.77 per year
