**Our Opportunity**

Due to continuous growth, NEPEAN Power are seeking multiple Construction Trade Assistants to join our workshop team. These positions are casual opportunities based in Thornton, NSW.

**Your Role**

You will contribute to various projects, often consisting of high-quality Switchrooms. Project requirements vary significantly as you will provide Switchrooms for open cute/underground mines, solar farms, wind farms, water treatment plants, airports, and rural areas throughout Australia.

Regular works involve but are not limited to,
- Installing CFC flooring.
- Installing steel frames and trusses.
- Installation of Fyrecheck/Ballistic sheeting.
- Wall and roof insulation.
- Installing External/internal cladding and flashings (Varying from job to job)
- Installation of custom doors.
- Collaborate with Electricians and Boilermakers when necessary.
- Performing quality checks on finished products
- Responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and site in general to 5S Standard

**The Right Person**
- Strong experience within construction/carpentry industry as a Trade Assistant or similar.
- Previous experience in residential or modular construction.
- Ability to Interpret drawings and work off sketches when required.
- Ability to use a range of workshop machinery and power tools.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve goals & deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Personal hand tools (required)
- Drivers License (required).
- Forklift, Boom & Scissor, dogman, confined Space tickets an advantage.
