**About the role**:
LI-TS1#LI-HYBRID

The payroll officer is responsible for driving excellence in the employee experience across Demant ANZ to achieve productivity and efficiency through the employee life cycle.

Also responsible for end-to-end payroll function including pay query handling and payroll processing adhering to legislative compliance within the area of payroll management; the data integrity of the Payroll, Time & Attendance and HRIS Systems; development and delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting.

**You will be successful in this role if you**:

- have previous knowledge and experience on high volume payroll processing across multiple employing entities.
- ** have recent experience of end-to-end in-house payroll processing in Access Micropay**:

- are able to perform well in a busy working environment
- have intermediate to advanced Excel skills (essential)
- have sound knowledge of Australian payroll policies & processes, legislation, and statutory requirements (essential)
- have sound knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation (highly desirable)
