In your new job, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering the end-to-end payroll functions. You’ll be meticulous about accuracy and data integrity. You will be reporting to Peta (Payroll Manager) and working alongside five other payroll team members. The rest of the payroll team is based in Tasmania, so you’ll be comfortable in working with a remote team - but don’t stress, the lovely members of the wider People & Culture team will be with you in our brand-new Olympic Park office

**What does your week look like?**

**Enterprise Agreement Experience**: Tassal has 10 enterprise agreements and 4 modern awards, so you’ll be experienced in interpreting multiple enterprise agreements and awards.

**Payroll Systems**: Exposure to or experience in CHRIS21 (even if an older version of the system).

**Employee Records**: Managing employee records in the payroll system, ensuring proper establishment of new employees and terminations as needed.

**Compliance**: Ensuring timely payroll processing in compliance with industrial instruments, current legislation, company policies, and procedures.

**Reporting**: Identify continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.

**People Culture**:Provide payroll insights and be able to lead and support projects to enhance our payroll processes.

**Skill requirement**: With an advanced understanding of MS Excel, you are meticulous, accurate, data driven and know how to complete work autonomously.
