- Know how to follow a recipe by mixing the following ingredients flour, sugar, and yeast to create a variety of doughs,.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
- Using weights and measures to weigh the correct amount of ingredients for
recipes.
- Operating machines for rolling, Rounding ,hand moulding dough.
- Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking
equipment.
Job Description of Baker
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry
goods.
- Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by
checking equipment and premises cleanliness before production runs.
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking
times.
- Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of
batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products.
- Using baker’s ovens, moulders, cutters, starters, and associated
personal protective equipment during the course of the day.
- Packaging finished products for distribution or sale.
- Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Assisting with menu planning and developing new recipes.
Pay: $72,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Rotating roster
