**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced clinician (Social Worker or Nurse) and leader who is interested in leading and managing the Engage team to cover the current Manager’s Long Service Leave. This exciting opportunity entails managing a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Mental Health/AOD Nurse and Lived Experience staff, and supporting patients presenting to Casey and Dandenong Emergency Departments with mental health difficulties and psychosocial stressors. The Engage Team works closely alongside the Emergency Psychiatric Service Teams to support this vulnerable patient group. This team also provides post-discharge outreach follow up in the community to patients through advocacy, service navigation and assisting them to link with appropriate community supports. The Manager role includes a clinical workload in addition to the leadership and management tasks and responsibilities.

This full time Social Work Grade 4/Nurse Grade 5 role will be offered for 15 weeks from 28/11/2024 - 14/3/2025.
