**The Position**

We are seeking an experienced **Catering Assistant** to work as a part of small team at a school café in South Westerns suburb of Brisbane. In this role your duties will include customer service, basic food preparation and serving, cleaning and sanitising, cash handling and assisting in setting up and clearing functions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coffee making
- Handling cash and serving customers efficiently
- Preparing food, serving food
- Function set up and clearing
- Assisting in kitchen and café cleaning duties.

**Key Requirements**
- Essential prior experience in hospitality and barista skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and reconciliation.
- Basic food preparation and cooking abilities.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude towards work
