Desired Service Outcome

This service provides to Ford in support of the T6 Brakes Program. It requires interaction with key stakeholders to resolve and communicate, within time frames advised by our client Company, related Program issues using supplied tools.

Required Qualifications and Experience for Provision of Service
- Bachelor level Degree of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 ~ 8 years technical experience in a design related chassis or automotive related supplier engineering group.
- Strong project management competencies including team and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to the Global Product Development System or system design engineering principles.
- Strength in leading/motivating project teams.
- Business Acumen.
- Good communication skills.

Project Scope

Deliverables & Outcomes Required:

- Lead Program Integration activities through GPDS Milestones.
- Clear Communication of Program Milestones and Deliverables to Chassis Engineering Team via Program Information Review Papers
- Clear Communication of Chassis Team Milestone Status at weekly Program Office Lead Program Steering Team Meetings
- Track Cost and Weight Status in FEDE system and prepare reports for management.
- Drive Cost and Weight reductions with Engineering team. Collate list of cost and weight opportunities are prepare management report out papers.
- Ensure FEDE system is up to date for Cost and Weight
- Prepare papers to explain Cost/Weight Status versus Target and collate action plans whilst working with Engineering Team to close gaps
- Work with Engineers to prepare CMFs in FEDE system for Design/Cost/Weight Change Actions
- Work with Programs Purchasing to assist in project management of sourcing work stream
- Contribute Technical and Project Management input towards resolving Engineering Issues
