**Job Description**:
As Afterpay’s Associate Product Manager - Payments, you’ll be responsible for assisting the Senior Product Managers with the day to day operation of Afterpay’s card payment processes and have a global initiative focus, working with a global team of Payments Product Managers.

We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin.
- Partner with Senior Product Managers with large initiatives and lead small initiatives
- Support new market entry through enabling payments capability
- Work cross-functionally with our Product, Finance, Customer Service and OPs, merchant services, design, analytics and engineering teams globally to drive value for consumers, merchants and Afterpay
- Work with external partners and internal teams to ensure compliance with scheme and regulatory requirements
- Understand the customer experience from end-to-end, collecting data and creating tests to show the value behind product ideas
- Work with a team of engineers and designers to deliver intuitive and exciting experiences
- Manage operational issues which impact customers or profitability

We are looking for a talented and dedicated professional with the following characteristics and ethics:

- Have a desire to work with a global team on global initiatives
- Operational-level understanding of card acquiring and experience working with the front-line on payments issues would be a positive
- Some Product Management experience would be a benefit
- Ability to be a sharp, rigorous thinker who can operate successfully among very bright, progressive and charismatic people.
- Must be an energetic, transparent and engaging individual with a natural skill for developing relationships both internally and externally

**Skills and Attributes**
- 1+ years of Product Management experience
- Ability to execute initiatives fully with mínimal supervision
- Able to work in fast paced and on multiple things at any one time and be comfortable with context switching
- Able to problem solve and innovatively work your way around roadblocks
- Self-motivated, well-presented, disciplined and methodical
- Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills that inspire trust
- Maintaining enthusiasm and calm demeanor in even the most stressful situations
- Must be able to add value with a strong team focus
