
Research and Development Manager

People Driven Performance (PDP), a forward-thinking and innovative company, is seeking a full-time Research and Development Manager with a preferred background in Asset-intensive industries (including Energy, Mining and Major Infrastructure). This individual must understand organisational strategy and have a keen eye for innovative training delivery methods. **Key Responsibilities**:
As a Research and Development Manager at PDP, you will leverage your research skills and strategic thinking to:
- Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate research and development activities within PDP, specifically focusing on researching ways to improve our training content and delivery methods to existing and prospective clients.
- Determine, implement, and monitor research and development strategies, policies, and plans that align with our organisational goals.
- Use your exceptional project management abilities to develop and implement multiple research projects, prioritising targets in line with our commercial deadlines for new content development and delivery.
- Lead significant research projects and coordinate activities with our clients, showcasing your leadership and project management skills.
- Use your strong analytical skills to assess the benefits, costs, and effectiveness of our research and development activities.
- Interpret the results of research projects (particularly leadership projects) and recommend associated training development innovations, employing your innovation and creativity to develop appropriate content.
- Provide expert advice to clients, displaying your qualitative and quantitative research skills and knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Monitor leading-edge developments in relevant disciplines and assess implications for PDP and our training solutions, demonstrating your capacity for flexibility.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant experience in a Learning and Development role, with a strong focus on research and development of training content and delivery methods. This experience cannot substitute for formal qualifications.
- Preferably a Master’s degree or higher indicating your comprehensive understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
