Furniture Store Salesperson

We require a need for an experienced retail store sales person for our furniture store in Thomastown. We currently operate through 3 Retail stores outlets in Melbourne and have an impressive online presence. You will be responsible for day to day of assisting in store sales by approaching customers into our Furniture Retail Store as they enter, inquiring about the type of furniture they want, making suggestions as you show customers around the showroom and help them choose the style of furniture they require and closing the sale.

The understanding and knowledge of store KPI.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers with sales
- Social Media Marketing
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about furniture products.
- Analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture.
- Answer customer queries regarding furniture products.
- Work with sales team to maximize sales and profitability.
- Enhance social media presence by regular posts
- Analyse and process customer orders accurately.
- Provide outstanding customer services before and after the sale.
- Handle customer complaints
- Assist in Inventory counting, receiving & stocking products
- Schedule delivery to customers in a timely manner.
- Assist pick up for floor stock items
- Arrange & maintain store displays
- Display point of sales information
- General cleaning & vacuuming
- Keep the store neat & presentable
- Able to lift & move furniture

**Eligibility**:

- Advanced computer skills
- Prior experience in sales/ retail
- Knowledge of POS system or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- General Maths skills
- Flexible availability across 7 day trading
- Motivation to work through busy trading periods
- A self-motivator
- An outgoing and friendly personality
- The ability to be proactive and take on new instructions/task
- Immediate start.

Pay: From $20,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

- KPI: 3 years (preferred)

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
