**CARRUTHERS MACHINERY CO - SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR**

Carruthers Machinery is a progressive CASE IH Dealership that has been servicing and selling agricultural machinery for over 20 years in the central west and south west slopes region. We are a locally owned family business with branches in both Cowra & Young NSW.

We are seeking to recruit an energetic and motivated Service administrator/Warranty Clerk to assist in organizing the billing and time tracking portion of the Service Department — from customer pay to warranty submission.

This position will be part-time, which may lead into full-time work. Working hours are flexible. However we would start off with 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

**Essential Job Functions**:
1) Fields incoming internal and external customer inquiries for the Service Department — both in terms of phone calls and walk in customers.

2) Reviews and adjusts timecards for the technicians as needed.

3) Opens repair orders as directed, updates technician comments and prepares the repair orders for closing. May close repair orders as directed by the Service Manager.

4) Assists the Service Manager in staying on top of repair orders in process to ensure that they are closed in a timely fashion.

5) Processes Service Department warranty claims and PIP's. Submits claims to the manufacturer and follows up to ensure payment is received.

**Other Job Functions**:

- Maintains Service Department filing and records as needed
- Other duties or projects as assigned by the Service Manager or Management

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of accounting practices preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred

Previous experience is not essential, as full on job training will be provided.

**Salary**: $46,333.53 - $84,500.50 per year
