APG is currently seeking a Store Person for a 6 Month contract within a Westmead Government Sector.

**Key accountabilities**:

- The Storeperson / Driver is responsible for the picking, packing and delivery of goods in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
- The role also includes receipting of vendor shipments and handling of routine customer enquiries.
- This position assists in providing effective and well managed Distribution Centre and distribution operations to ensure the HealthShare Service Centres (HSSC) obligations to customer are met.
- Working with the Team Leader / Distribution Centre Operations Supervisor to ensure the effective receipt, control dispatch and delivery of goods to and from the warehouse.
- Picking and packing goods in a timely manner for distribution to customer.
- Undertaking the housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Handling routine customer enquiries in a professional manner.
- Correcting physical and computer receipt of goods received through effective basic operation of the Financial Management Information System (Oracle).
- Ensure that all goods are correctly delivered in line with required time tables and service level agreements.
- Providing transport services, including delivery runs, correct efficient loading of the delivery vehicle to ensure even weight distribution and the efficient unloading of goods, driving and delivery of goods.
- Responsible for safe driving of delivery vehicle ensuring all traffic regulations are adhered to.
- As directed by management follow the Heavy Vehicle Driver Fatigue (HVDF) processes and procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles at all times to project positive image of HealthShare and conduct daily checks and report any malfunctions or defects to the Supervisor.
- Working shifts, overtime and Public Holidays as required.
- Undertake deliveries and pick-ups as required.
- Assist in stock-takes and cycle counts as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
- Valid Drivers License
- Maintaining currency of knowledge on systems and procedures, responding to inquiries, and completing administrative and processing tasks within defined service standards.
- Must be able to lift up to 16kg
