_O’Briens Window Cleaning is a commercial high-rise window cleaning and height safety access solutions company with headquarter based in Sydney, NSW._
- We are currently seeking a WHS Officer with specific abseiling related safety knowledge to join our business on a full-time employment contract basis. We are looking for someone who can perform the following and is willing to commit to our business for at least 2 years_
- **Responsibility**: _
- maintaining, implementing and evaluating all safety procedures _according to the standards._

**_Major duties include: _**
- _Instruct employee’s on correct practice of WHS_
- _Responsible for as part of the WHS team in the development and documentation of all WHS_

**_Activities_**
- Responsible for as part of the WHS team in the development and documentation of all training and induction programs. This includes training and induction programs for all employees & external contractors._
- _Responsible for developing and maintaining Emergency management procedures and equipment including fire/security systems_
- _Manage and coordinate return to work for all employees with support from Human Resources, to manage all Work Cover issues and ensure compliance with legislation_
- _Responsible for incident investigation, reporting and corrective monitoring_
- _Responsible co-ordinating work environmental assessments such as industrial hygiene monitoring, manual handling assessments and work stations, area and tasks_
- _Responsible for developing injury prevention and management strategies with support from the senior management team_
- _Responsible for Adherence to all Health, Safety and Environment requirements and Compliance with both Corporate and Legislative Policies and Acts_
- _Developing and delivering toolbox talks to workers_
- _Tracking actions from investigations, audits and inspections to ensure they are completed within agreed timeframes._
- _Preparation and provision of health and safety reports and communication materials._

**_Skills and Experience required: _**
- Related qualification or 5 years of relevant work experience;_
- _Ability to work in the position without supervision;_
- _Excellent communication and teamwork skills;_
- _Attention to details;_
- _At least 1 year of abseiling related safety experience_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
