About the Role
This role provides specialist Gastroenterology & Hepatology clinical care to patients and assumes overall responsibility for patient care. Services provided include:

- Provides specialist services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service,
- Provides inpatient care, including participating in the on-call roster
- Undertakes elective and/or emergency endoscopy procedures
- Provides inpatient consultations as requested
- Provides outpatient consultations
- Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and meetings
- Supervision and teaching of registrars, junior doctors and medical students, and teaching for other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Participation and or leadership of research and quality improvement activities
