Fashion and Footwear Designer

As a Fashion and Footwear Designer, you will leverage your deep understanding of fashion trends, market dynamics, consumer preferences, and production processes to create innovative and stylish footwear products. Your role will involve in developing and shaping our future product offerings that meet brand identity, market trends and consumer needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify upcoming fashion trends in footwear, clothing, and accessories.
- Create and present seasonal product strategies, trend boards, and product pitches supported by research and insights on industry trends and consumer behaviour.
- Deliver new products from initial concept through to production.
- Develop accurate tech packs for outsoles, uppers, and other components, ensuring precise communication with manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate with local and overseas factories and suppliers to ensure prototypes and samples are executed to reflect the intended design.
- Coordinate proofing arrangements and follow-up on sample completions to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Utilise sketching, CAD work, and creating specifications and tech packs to support the manufacturing team in delivering high-quality footwear products.

**About You**:

- **Mandarin speaking** is essential for this role.
- Experience in footwear or fashion design is highly preferred.
- Expertise with design software and the ability to create detailed sketches, tech packs, and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabric materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience collaborating across departments and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- A strong passion in the footwear design with good portfolio showcasing custom footwear, drawings and completed projects.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
