New Lambton Vet Clinic is an established veterinary practice in Newcastle, we are looking for a fabulous new Practice Manager to join and lead our team We currently have 2 experienced vets with a team of nurses.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a varied role of practice manager and experienced nurse to join the established team we have in place, you will need to be team-driven, passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, and committed to promoting inclusion. As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our busy, small animal GP practice.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting and coaching the team
- Ensuring smooth day to day running of the practice
- Stock management, rostering, and other practice administration tasks
- Managing business financials such as budgeting and P & L reporting
- Identify staff training needs
- Providing exceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients
- Local marketing activities
- Growth mindset and the development of new business to business opportunities

**The skills you will require**:
**Essential**:

- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Cert IV in Vet nursing or equivalent
- 4 years’ experience as a Vet Nurse
- Desire to lead, engage and inspire a team
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Good business acumen
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
- Previous experience in a management role
