**Consultant, Strategy and Communications - Sydney**

**The Opportunity**
- Day-to-day coordination and administration on client accounts;
- Monitoring and analysing targeted industry intelligence, including media and analyst coverage;
- Supporting client leads with research and preparation of strategy and briefing materials;
- Supporting the development of client deliverables including communications strategies, key messaging, Q&A documents, presentations and speeches;
- Develop market and policy analysis as well as research report development
- Supporting the team to identify business growth opportunities;
- Building an internal peer-level network within Teneo across our global offices to support professional development and business growth.
- Developing network of external stakeholders across media, industry and the investment community

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree ideally in business, finance, economics, or communications. A postgraduate degree or pursuing CFA is an advantage;
- 0-2 years of experience in corporate and financial communications, or preferably in roles related to investor relations, investment/private banking, capital markets, or the financial media.
- Possessing business acumen and business analysis capabilities would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of financial reporting, disclosures and the financial calendar would be an advantage
- Possessing excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel;
- International experience (study and / or work) a plus;
- A strong appetite for geopolitics, macroeconomic / finance events;
- Must display a strong work ethic, high standards and commitment to the role.
