**About the role**

We are excited to welcome you to our practice. You will be joining a growing team of dentists and support staff. Evolving Smiles is a family-owned practice in Denman Prospect. We are committed to providing excellent dental care and services to our patients. Your role will be to provide support to the dentists and other team members to achieve our clinical goals.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Building rapport with patients
- Chairside assisting during clinical procedures
- Comply with sterilisation and cross infection prevention procedures and protocols
- Assist with laboratory duties
- Perform office administrative duties and reception

- An outgoing, bubbly personality
- Have an ability to be empathic and compassionate
- Have the willingness to provide excellent service
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail
- Good time management skills and be able to think on your feet
- Self-motivated and a great work ethic
- Be able to set own goals and be willing to learn and take direction
- Understand your role as a team player
- Be able to work some weekends

**Benefits**

An immediate start is desired. The position is full-time however a job-share situation would also work well.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $23.90 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Denman Prospect, ACT 2611: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
