Client-side Technical Adviser for Essential Safety Measures - large educational institute, 6-months. East.

**Your new role**
In your role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing specialist advice on ESM schedules and develop documentation to support current and future ESM compliance activities across Campuses.
- Coordinating ESM compliance activities at all campuses and contribute to Policy and procedures related to Risk and Emergency Management
- Developing a robust audit program to test ESM systems and maintain comprehensive records
- Implement process improvement ensuring ESM data is well managed and issues are lodged, tracked, and completed within agreed time periods on the work order management system.
- Ensure ESM and electrical infrastructure repair and maintenance tasks including testing and tagging (planned, reactionary and adhoc) are managed and completed in a timely and professional manner and OHS standards are maintained.
- Respond, assess and resolve requests and issues in relation to ESM and fire systems or escalate where required
- Review, analyse, assess and report on utilities energy performance and certify utilities accounts and providing process improvements for their management

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Qualifications and experience in Facilities Management, Trades (building/construction) - highly desirable
- A sound understanding of the building industry
- Public Sector, higher education or not-for-profit industry experience - highly desirable
- MS suite proficient
- Strong contractor and people management experience in the facilities hard and soft services space
- Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
