Our Customer Experience team exists to generate customer engagement and advocacy through the delivery of extraordinary experiences. We enable our Partners to leverage the full power of the Westfield ecosystem, create a culture of Customer obsession, drive superior commercial returns from the Westfield ecosystem, and ensure an extraordinary Customer Experience is a sustainable one.

As a **Category Manager, Procurement **within the Customer Experience (CX) your primary responsibility will be overseeing contract procurement and deliverables to minimize the impact on our internal Facilities Management Team. In addition, you will offer expert guidance to support our internal Facilities Management and Operations teams, ensuring optimal outcomes. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with executed contracts, thereby delivering the best possible results for the business.

Day to day, your main responsibilities will include (but not be limited)
- Responsibility for procurement and contract processes.
- Work with the regional FM team on procurement activities across their regions by providing regular updates on contracts.
- Build relationships with contract partners to deliver the best possible service for the business and centre teams.
- Lead the tender process for new contracts being procured including interviews, scoring, evaluation, recommendation and executing the contract for sign off.
- Prepare tender recommendations for senior stakeholders for sign off.
- Be responsible for providing recommendations on categories you manage - thinking outside the box.
- Strong focus on the development, implementation, and governance of contract management processes - in line with Scentre Group standard policies, to obtain the optimum risk and commercial for Scentre Group.
- Assist the utilisation of the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to support contract delivery and performance management along with longer term financial planning and reviews of contracts and contractors
- Seek innovative solutions to improve the service delivery and identify risk/commercial opportunities

- Experience in effectively communicating and dealing with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, cost planning, cost control, forecasting and contract administration
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic environment, working toward solutions which benefit all involved parties
- Understanding the business and associated industry risks
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Experience working in the retail/building services is highly desirable.
