About the role

Black Cow Bistro is looking for an experienced Casual Waiter to join our dynamic team in our Launceston restaurant. As a casual waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patrons in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing
- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Providing recommendations on menu items and daily specials
- Clearing and resetting tables between customers
- Assisting with side duties such as restocking and cleaning as required
- Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times

What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar casual waiting role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to make recommendations
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience
