We are currently recruiting for a People Business Partnerwho will report directly into the Superintendent HR. We are offering this role on a 5:2:4:3 roster where you can drive in and out of site ThePeople Business Partner implements and execute site based HR processes and provides advice and support to managers in respect to people management, leadership and related issues in an effective way - based on an understanding of departmental business needs and the capabilities and work systems which are provided out of centralised regional HR. This role will suit someone who thrives in a high volume case management environment and who has extensive performance management and disciplinary experience.
**A day in the life may include**:

- Provide HR advice ensuring alignment with organisational strategic objectives, applicable policy, regulations and legislation including the NES and Fair Work Act.
- Provide professional advice to leaders to enhance their people skills and knowledge.
- Provide best practice advice and support to management and employees during disciplinary investigations, conflict resolution sessions and termination of employment.
- Collate and interpret HR data to create reports on various HR metrics including case management, leave management, unplanned absence and overtime, utilising data to make recommendations regarding HR strategy and initiatives.

**About you**:
Ideally you will come from a resources background (remote site experience) and have extensive experience in a generalist role along with a HR/IR territory qualification. You will be familiar with Employee Relations and Workers Compensation legislations as well as have effective people management and negotiation skills. You will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels whilst building strong working relationships.
