Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200—located at RAAF Amberley. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability, fleet size and expertise.

We are now seeking an experienced, passionate and suitably qualified **Field Services Representatives **to join the KC-30A Field Services team located at RAAF Base Amberley.

Reporting to the Field Service Lead, the Field Service Representative is responsible for ensuring timely, expert maintenance and troubleshooting advice on KC-30A airframe, engine, avionics and AAR systems is provided to the RAAF at the Main Operating Base and at other locations (in support of deployed operations).

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert technical advice during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist the Field Services Manager in maintain operational support to 33 SQN through rostering support and leave management.
- Manage, co-ordinate, priorities and report on REA’s to the KC-30A Enterprise
- Provide on-call field service out of hours when required thru immediate verbal contact and follow up in written advice
- Ability to work a shift roster pattern, providing 24/7 coverage to Amberley Operations, and be available for short notice shift changes.
- Provide Technical Advice within level of approved Engineering Authority issued from NGA-TS CAMO for the resolution and actioning of 33SQN REA’s, RAAP’s and PIRR’s.
- Regularly review CFU’s, Engineering Orders and REA’s to ensure maximum aircraft availability.
- Be available to deploy at short notice both nationally and internationally for short and long term deployments.
- Provide Deep Maintenance Technical Support
- Perform Release Authority (LOG Review) on behalf of the CAMO within level of approved authority for Engineering Orders, Special Technical Instructions and Modification Orders.
- Provide technical guidance to assist in the release of Engineering Orders, Special Technical Instructions and Modification Orders.
- Provide Technical updates to key stakeholders.
- Provide and execute Duty Engineering authority to support 33SQN Operations, in line with 33SQN SENGO approval.
- Provide short notice technical and engineering guidance to the Commonwealth to achieve aircraft availability and maintain NGA-TS KPI’s, SHI’s, and SPM’s.

**Skills and Qualifications required**:
**Essential**
- NV 1 Security Clearance
- Current CASA/DASA B1 / B2 Licence
- A330/KC-30A Flight line / Operational Experience
- Minimum 5 years as a certifier on the A330 / KC-30A
- Working knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) or CASA regulatory environments
- Professional and personal qualities to enable representational duties and direct customer contact
