Medical Receptionist

We are looking for an enthusiastic medical receptionist to join our Specialist Neurology Clinic in Rozelle (full time) working 5 days per week commencing Oct 2024. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering quality care to our patients.

The successful applicant must be reliable and able to work unattended in an efficient environment whilst maintaining attention to detail and effective time management. **Previous medical receptionist experience is essential**.

**About the Role**

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Meeting and greeting patients
- Billing and receipting patients, Medicare, DVA and WorkCover
- Typing and proofreading clinical reports
- Liasing with referrers, Specialists and hospitals
- General office administration - filing, faxing, photocopying
- Ability to understand and anticipate patients’ needs and expectations
- Assist with cleanliness of the practice
- Maintaining and ordering stock
- General practice management

**Qualifications**
- Typing and letter writing experience
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work unsupervised
- Very strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills

Start date: 14th October 2024 - 3 weeks training (Rozelle)
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
