About the RoleAs the Head of Department, you will have responsibility for the following:
- Lead the school engagement and wellbeing faculty to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning and wellbeing outcomes for all students.
- Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving learning engagement, behaviour and attendance outcomes.
- As part of the school's Response to Intervention, monitor students' individual performance and behaviour, and develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Work with and provide tools and strategies for the school leadership team, Heads of Department and Student Support Teachers to utilise in relation to student engagement, achievement and attendance.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies and programs with other organisations.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
