Rockpool Bar & Grill Sydney is seeking a reliable and hardworking Store Person to join our team and provide support from the loading dock. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renowned culinary team, ensuring our high standards of service are met by managing the smooth flow of inventory and supplies into the kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies
- Accurately storing inventory in designated areas and ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO)
- Organizing and distributing items to various kitchen and service areas as required
- Keeping track of inventory levels and assisting with stocktaking
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the loading dock and storage areas
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Assisting with the management of returns and damaged goods
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse, or logistics role (preferably in the hospitality or food industry)
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes and items
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist across various areas of the business
