**About the Centre**

**Roxby Downs Child Care Centre** is a not for profit, community-based centre situated in the remote mining community of Roxby Downs. The Roxby Downs Children’s Centre provides a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where children can engage in their learning and families can access a range of services to support their parenting needs.

The centre operates 50 weeks of the year between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a commitment to supporting families and their children in the provision of high quality education and care programs for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

**The Opportunity**

Working as a _Permanent Full Time_, _Permanent Part Time_ or _Casual_ member of staff, you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality early childhood education and care programs that meet the needs of individual and groups of children, as well as supporting their learning in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.

**Essential Criteria**

To qualify for our current vacancy, you must meet the following criteria:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care as recognised by ACECQA
- Live in Roxby Downs, or willing to relocate with a view to stay long term.
- Previous practical experience in early childhood education and care settings
- A genuine passion for early childhood and young children's education
- A current understanding and knowledge of EYLF
- A commitment to continuous learning, best practice and achieving high quality service delivery
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with families, children and colleagues
