**THE ROLE**
Our client, a Family Law Practice, are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to work in the Family Law division. You will be supporting 3 Solicitors. This group is a collaborative, close knit team who are seeking a friendly and proactive legal secretary to work with them to deliver excellent client service.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Dictaphone typing;
- Drafting correspondence, document preparation, editing and formatting;
- Preparation and collation of briefs;
- Undertaking online searches;
- Occasionally receipting of cheques and cash and arranging for the banking of same; and
- General administration support
**YOU**
To be successful for this role you must have:
- At least 2 years experience working within family law
- Experience using LEAP is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously, but also as part of a team
- The confidence to take initiative
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
