**What this job involves**:
At JLL, we're looking for someone eager to start a career in facilities management as a Facilities Trainee. This entry-level job gives you hands-on experience in how buildings operate. You'll learn from our team while trying different roles to see what you enjoy most. As you learn, you'll build skills that can lead to advancement. You'll develop practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional relationships that will serve as the foundation for your growth in facilities management while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional workplace experiences.
**What your day-to-day will look like**:
Participate in a structured training program covering key aspects of facilities management including maintenance, operations, vendor management, and customer service
Shadow experienced facilities professionals to learn procedures, best practices, and problem-solving techniques
Assist with basic facilities tasks such as inspections, maintenance coordination, and response to occupant requests
Learn to use facilities management systems and tools including software and reporting platforms
Support administrative functions including documentation, record-keeping, and basic data analysis
Attend training sessions, workshops, and department meetings to expand knowledge and develop professional skills
Contribute to small projects and initiatives under the guidance of senior team members
**Required Qualifications**:
Strong interest in facilities management, building operations, or related areas
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn and accept feedback
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Experience working in customer service
Interest in pursuing professional certification in facilities management
