**About the role**
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and based at GrainCorp’s Carrington site at Newcastle Port; the Maintenance Planner (permanent) will be responsible for:

- Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for operations
- Planning materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works
- Consulting with operations supervisors / leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing
- Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively
- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
- Maintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history
- Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems

**About your experience**
- Planning experience in CMMS (SAP desirable)
- Strong asset management background in materials handling/fixed plant/mobile plant
- Awareness and understanding of budget constraints
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
